The mattress gets great reviews, has a good return policy, and the price is right. We ordered a queen sized Tuft and Needle.
First impression: Soft.
We wanted a firm mattress and Consumer Reports rated it as objectively firm. When you sit on this foam mattress it initially feels soft. Really soft.
When you lie down and distribute your weight, it feels quite supportive.
I didn't love this mattress off the bat. And I really wanted to love it.

Two months in, I find it comfortable and supportive. No complaints. But I can't shake that first impression or the feeling of softness when I sit on it.
We're going to keep it, but it's not true love.
UPDATE: It's winter. The mattress (or maybe just the mattress pad I put on it) is creating a lot of static. When I turn and sit up to get out of bed, there's a lot of crackling.
